Crystal Diamond Glaze Aviation Polish is one of the finest, most versatile and user-friendly sealer polishes for your airplane or helicopter. It seals and protects paint, fibreglass, glass, plexiglass, polycarbonate, carbon fibre, brass, chrome, stainless steel, polished aluminum, propeller / rotor blades and deicing boots. Although named as a "polish", in reality it is a non-stick, high-gloss, no wax, all-climate sealant. This product is a unique sealant that acts like liquid glass, penetrating surfaces at the molecular level. It is formulated with nano particles, which create a smoother surface that reflects light more evenly, giving the finish a deep, glossy shine. Also providing for evener coverage and greater durability, filling in pores ... leaving behind a rock-hard, glass-like finish. One with increased surface area contact, therefore better protection. CDG Aviation Polish protects finishes from UV rays, acid rain, bird droppings, insect residues and airborne contaminants. The sealant coating helps to repel foreign matter, thereby keeping surfaces cleaner for longer. Aviation Polish is easy to apply (by hand) and requires minimal buffing. It should be applied to new (clean, wax-free) and like-new (pre-cleaned, pre-polished or clayed) surfaces only. The sealant offers lasting protection and without the need for frequent renewals. While one application of CDG Aviation Polish will seal paint pores for years, we recommend an annual touch-up, to maintain optimum appearance, performance and protection. Polish by hand in a brisk circular motion, until oxidation has been lifted and the appearance of scratches reduced or removed. At this point, the nano particles have bonded with the surface, filling in pores and scratches and leaving behind a level, rock hard, glass-like finish. In essence, work the product into the finish until a high-gloss appears. We recommend wiping down or buffing surfaces after application with a soft microfibre cloth, to wipe away any residual compound and to fully reveal the product's glass-like finish. For extended protection, follow-up by applying a thin coat of Crystal Diamond Glaze Aviation Polish (Sealant).
